Priya Punia, the new young sensation of the Indian women’s team has captured all the attention since her debut in 2018. The top-order batter belongs to Jaipur and her aggressive style of play made her the new rising star of Indian women’s cricket. Priya punia’s Hardship path
She started her cricket journey from Delhi. She trained under Rajkumar Sharma for seven years. Interestingly Sharma was Virat Kohli’s childhood coach as well. However, after Priya moved to Jaipur, her life and cricket career both faced a lot of struggle. She didn’t find ideal facilities for training in her early days after moving to the new city.

She couldn’t find the appropriate training facilities and was laid down by Jaundice and some injuries within the first three months of her move. But despite those hardships, Priya persevered in the end when she made her debut for Delhi in 2016. Two years since then, she was finally able to break into the international women’s team. So far, she has featured for India Women in 5 ODIs and 3 T20Is.
