IPL Auction List 2021 Only 292 players out of 1114 got place in auction.

IPL Auction List 2021 The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) released the players list for the 2021 season auction of the Indian Premier League (IPL) on Thursday. A total of 292 players will be involve in the auction while eight teams need a total of 61 players.

Indian veteran spinner Harbhajan Singh, middle-order batsman Kedar Jadhav, Australian star player Steve Smith and explosive all-rounder Glenn Maxwell have been placed in the maximum base price of Rs 2 crore for the IPL auction. Apart from this, Arjun Tendulkar, son of India’s great batsman Sachin Tendulkar, has been included in the lowest base price of Rs 20 lakh category.

The players auction will be held on February 18 in Chennai. Eight teams of IPL have retained 139 players this time while 57 players have been release from their teams. 164 Indians while 125 foreign players will be in the auction.

KINGS X1 PUNJAB  HAS HIGHEST IN PURSE

The team of Kings XI Punjab will enter the auction with the highest amount of Rs 53 crore 10 lakh. While Hyderabad has a little less than 11 crore (10 crore 75 lakh). Chennai Super Kings has Rs 22 crore 70 lakh and has slots for 7 players.

Chennai Super Kings has released Harbhajan Singh and Kedar Jadhav this year. Arjun, the son of legendary batsman Sachin Tendulkar and left-arm fast bowler, has got a place in the lowest base price category of Rs 20 lakh in the revised list.  Apart from Maxwell and Smith, foreign players include Shakib Al Hasan, Moin Ali, Sam Billings, Liam Plunkett, Jason Roy and Mark Wood in the highest base prize category.

In the base prize category of Rs 1.5 crore, 12 players have got place. While Indian batsman Hanuma Vihari and fast bowler Umesh Yadav are in the third category of Rs one crore. The IPL auction will begin on February 18 in Chennai at 3 pm Indian time.
