Dhawan said after the match, ‘I enjoyed my batting very much,  the way I was playing the ball. Prithvi was also batting brilliantly today, his form continues with Vijay Hazare. We needed a good start to the match as there was a big goal in front. I was playing more close to the body. It was nice to see Prithvi playing as the previous IPL was not special to him.

After the match, Shaw said, ‘Looks good after the win. Everyone contributed and it was a good start. The wicket was good for batting in the second innings. The ball was coming well on the bat. After the drop after Australia tour, I went to Praveen (Amre) sir, discussed my batting and then played home matches, which benefited me. I am very happy that I could come back.
