Rohit took an aggressive approach and Rahul decided to bat well. Rohit completed his half century on just 34 balls. It was his fastest half-century in the World Cup. India felt as the first blow Rahul. He played 57 off 78 balls. In his innings, he made three fours and two sixes.
After this Rohit got the captain Virat Kohli’s side. Both scored quick runs. Both shared a 98-run partnership for the second wicket. Rohit was batting very well. Fakhar Zaman (62) and Babar Azam (48) repaired the damage with a century stand, before they both fell to left-arm wrist-spinner Yadav as they tried to up the tempo.
