INDIA INNINGS

In the monumental run chase  Dhawan seemed unfazed with the fall of wickets at the other  end and was doing the bulk of the scoring.

KARTHIK- PANT PARTNERSHIP

The partnership between pant and karthik decorated with some massive hitting boundaries with Ten Fours and Two Sixes . The 51-run stand between Rishabh Pant (20 off 15) and Dinesh Karthik (30 off 13) kept the visitors in the hunt, though.

Both struck 25-runs from Andrew Tye’s second over – the most expensive over of the match  When the 15th over also produced 11 runs it seemed the visitors would just pull this one off.

With 18 needed from 10 deliveries, but Pant attempted a ramp shot and ended up throwing his wicket and the hosts found their LIGHT IN THE DARK.

When 13 needed from the last overs, the australian hero the match Marcus Stonnis defended the total  for the kangaroos.

Adam Zampa was the pick of the bowlers for the Australians. As he finished with figures of 2/22 from his quota of 4 overs. The leg-spinner got the big wickets of Rahul and Kohli and put the visitors under pressure.

As for the Indians, their bowling and fielding   let down as Krunal Pandya (4-0-55-0) and Khaleel Ahmed (3-0-42-1)  too expensive. Kuldeep Yadav was the star bowler for India as he finished with 2/24.
