Aakash Chopra selected best playing XI for WTC ,Virat Kohli not in the squad

Former India cricketer and commentator Aakash Chopra has picked his best playing XI for the World Test Championship ( WTC ). In this team, he has given place to players from all over the world. He has also included three Indian players in his best playing XI.

He has surprised everyone by not including Indian team captain Virat Kohli in the team. Based on the performance of the players in the World Test Championship the team is selected. Significantly, from June 18 to June 22, the WTC final between India and New Zealand will be played in Southampton.

Aakash Chopra told about the playing XI selected for WTC in his YouTube channel. 43-year-old Akash Chopra has named Rohit Sharma and Dimuth Karunaratne of Sri Lanka as openers in the team.

He said that Rohit Sharma has scored 1030 runs in the World Test Championship at an average of 64. Of course he has played fewer matches outside the home but he has done well in India.

Dimuth Karunaratne has scored 999 runs at an average of 55. At number three and fourth, Akash has picked Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne of Australia.

Due to the ability to bat for a long time and score runs in any situation, he gave both of them a place in the team.

Aakash Chopra picked New Zealand captain Kane Williamson at number five. At the same time, Ben Stokes of England has been given a place in his team at number six as an all-rounder.
