Brisbane Heat came down to chase for 151 runs and lost 144 wickets in 19 overs to make 144 runs. Scott Boland was batting the last over and Mark Steketee and James Beazley were batting at the crease. Two runs were wanted on the last ball. Batting was done by Mark Steketee. Bolland bowled and Mark hit a shot on the off and raced for a run. Fielder threw the ball to the stumps. The decision went to the third umpire. The umpire called the batsman out and with this Hobart won the match.

Brisbane won the toss and decided to bowl first. Which prove to be correct. The bowlers did not allow Hobart’s Batsman to stay at the crease. In Mujib-ur-Rehman’s spin, the batsmen got entangled and were out.
Hobart could only score 150 runs. Brisbane’s batting also prove to be a flop in response. Apart from James Beazley, none of his batsmen could stay at the crease for much longer. The match reached the last ball, Hobart finally won.
