The Indian cricket team created history by winning the Test series in Australia for the second time in a row. Team India won the Border Gavaskar Trophy 2–1 against Australia for the second time in a row. In the last match of the series played in Brisbane, India scored a 3-wicket victory on the basis of Rishabh Pant’s unbeaten innings of 89 runs. After this victory, a prize money of 5 crores bonus has been announced for Team India by the Board of Control for Cricket in India.
In the decisive match of the four-match Test series, the Indian team won the victory on the fifth day chasing 328 at the ground of Brisbane. Australia’s team had never lost on this ground since 1988 and India ended their dominance of 32 years of victory. No team had ever chased such a big goal on this ground before. This is India’s biggest ever chase against Australia.

Secretary, Jai Shah from the board announced in a tweet that a bonus of 5 crores will be given for this magnificent victory of the Indian team. The Indian team had to face an 8-wicket defeat against Australia in Adelaide. After this, the team made a great comeback in Melbourne, winning by 8 wickets and scored 1-1 in the series. The third match played in Sydney was a draw. In the decisive Test of Brisbane, India won the series by 3 wickets and captured the series.
