DC vs SRH Highlights: Delhi Capitals (DC) have registered their second consecutive win in IPL 2025. DC defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 7 wickets on Sunday. SRH gave a target of 164 runs at the Visakhapatnam ground, which DC easily chased in 16 overs for the loss of three wickets.
Vice-captain Faf du Plessis made a splash. He scored 50 runs in 27 balls with the help of three fours and three sixes. Du Plessis gave a good start to the chase. He shared an 81-run partnership for the first wicket with Jake Fraser-McGurk (38 off 32 balls, four fours, two sixes). KL Rahul contributed 15 runs in 5 balls.
Abhishek Porel remained unbeaten on 34 off 18 balls and Tristan Stubbs on 21 off 14 balls. Porel hit two fours and as many sixes. Stubbs hit three fours. Zeeshan Ansari took all three wickets for Hyderabad.

Earlier, Hyderabad team was bowled out for 163 in 18.3 overs after winning the toss. DC fast bowler Mitchell Starc made a blast. He opened his claws for the first time in IPL. He took five wickets for 35 runs in 3.4 overs. Spinner Kuldeep Yadav took three wickets while Mohit Sharma took one wicket.

Aniket Verma scored the most runs for Hyderabad. He played an innings of 74 runs in 41 balls with the help of five fours and 6 sixes. This is Aniket’s first IPL fifty. Hyderabad did not have a good start. Opener Abhishek Sharma (1) was run out in the first over.
Starc showed the way to the pavilion to Ishan Kishan (2) and Nitish Kumar Reddy (0) in the third over. Starc trapped a big fish in the form of Travis Head in the fifth over. 22 runs came out of his bat in 12 balls, which included fours.
After SRH lost four wickets for 37 runs, Aniket took charge. He shared a 77-run partnership for the fifth wicket with Heinrich Klaasen (32 off 19 balls, two fours, two sixes). Mohit took Klaasen’s wicket in the 11th over. Wiaan Mulder (9), Harshal Patel (5), Anibhanav Manohar (4) and Pat Cummins (2) did not reach double figures. Mohammad Shami remained unbeaten on one run.
