ICC T20 Rankings: In the latest rankings released by the International Cricket Council (ICC), India’s star player Hardik Pandya remains the number-1 all-rounder in T20. He has retained his first position. He has been performing consistently well since leading India to victory in the T20 World Cup. India’s mystery spinner Varun Chakraborty dropped one place to third in the Men’s T20 bowling rankings.
New Zealand fast bowler Jacob Duffy has climbed to the No.1 spot in the ICC Men’s T20I bowling rankings, following his stellar performance in the recent 4-1 series win against Pakistan.
Abhishek occupies second place
India’s young left-handed opener Abhishek Sharma is in second place in the T20 batting rankings. Australia’s Travis Head is at the top while England’s Phil Salt is at third place. Two other Indian batsmen Tilak Verma and Suryakumar Yadav are at fourth and fifth places respectively.
Hardik remains at the top of the all-rounder’s list with 252 rating points. After them comes Nepal’s Dipendra Singh Airee and Australia’s Marcus Stoinis. New Zealand’s Tim Seifert has made it to the top 10. He secured the eighth position after scoring 249 runs at an average of 62.25 in the series against Pakistan. His opening partner Finn Allen has also moved up one place to reach the 15th position.
Chapman and Salman benefit
In the ODI rankings, Mark Chapman moved up 24 places to reach the 78th position after his match-winning innings of 132 runs off 111 balls. Pakistan’s Salman Agha moved up six places to reach the 37th position after a solid innings of 58 runs.
Among the bowlers, Pakistan’s Haris Rauf moved up nine places to reach the 16th position, while his partner Naseem Shah moved up one place to reach the 42nd position. New Zealand fast bowler William O’Rourke moved up 15 places to 56th position and Duffy moved up 14 places to 95th position
