Earlier, after losing the toss, India scored 124 runs for the loss of 7 wickets while batting first. England have to score 125 runs to win the first T20 match. Shreyas Iyer scored 67 runs for India. Fast bowler Jofra Archer took three wickets for just 23 runs.

Indian opener KL (Rahul) Rahul may not show much with the bat in the first T20 (India vs England T20 Series) against England in Ahmedabad. But he definitely caught everyone’s attention with his fielding. Rahul leaped into the air at the boundary line and saved a six for the team. Former England and India players also praised Rahul’s effort. The video of his six save is becoming viral on social media.
This sample of Rahul’s great fielding was seen in the fifth over of England’s innings. Axar Patel was throwing these overs and Jos Butler was on strike. Akshar throws a flattened ball to Butler. He went ahead and played an aerial shot towards the long off.
KL Rahul was fielding there. He wasted no time and leaped into the air and took a catch. However, seeing himself falling across the boundary line, he immediately threw the ball inwards. Butler too was surprised to see Rahul’s fielding and managed to run away with only two runs. In this way, Rahul saved four runs for Team India. Captain Virat Kohli also cheered for this effort of fellow player by cheering.
