1. YUVRAJ SINGH
Yuvraj Singh (16 crores): The most expensive player in IPL history has been Yuvraj Singh, who was bought by Delhi Capitals in 2015 for 16 crores. Delhi bought them after being released by Royal Challengers Bangalore. But star all rounder Yuvraj was able to score only 248 runs and got one wicket. At the same time, Delhi showed the way out to coach Gary Kirsten and appointed Rahul Dravid as coach.

Kings XI Punjab and Chennai Super Kings continued to bid for them and the bid stopped at 11.5 crore.
