1. Head Coach: Trevor Bayliss ( Punjab Kings)

After Anil Kumble stepped down as head coach, his assistant stepped into his shoes. Bayliss’ salary as of now is 4 crores. England’s World Cup-winning coach Trevor Bayliss, who has also won the IPL twice as KKR head coach

 

2. RICKY PONTING(Delhi Capitals)

 

Australian batsman Ricky Ponting is the coach of Delhi Capitals. Ricky Ponting is one of the most successful coaches in the history of IPL. Ponting gets a salary of Rs 3.5 crore from Delhi Capitals for his services.

Bowling Coach: James Hopes

• Hopes receives a salary of 2.2 crores for his services to the DC side.

Batting Coach/ Assistant Coach: Shane Watson 

• Watson is an IPL veteran and he brings immense experience to the side, receiving a salary of 3.2 crores.

 

3. Chandrakant Pandit  (Kolkata Knight Riders)

Renowned coach in Indian domestic cricket Chandrakant Pandit has replaced Brendon McCullum as head coach after the latter took over as England’s Test side head coach last year. Pandit will be the first Indian head coach to take the charge at KKR after the franchise had five foreign coaches in the role in the last 15 seasons.

• He was newly appointed as KKR’s head coach post-departure of Brendon McCullum. His salary is 3.4 crores

 

4.  Mark Boucher( Mumbai Indians)

Former Sri Lanka captain Mahela Jayawardene, who served as the head coach of Mumbai Indians from 2017 to 2022, was elevated to global head of performance at the franchise. Zaheer Khan was also promoted from director of cricket operations to global head of cricket development.

Mark Boucher, who was the head coach of South Africa men’s cricket team until the T20 World Cup in Australia last year, will replace Jayawardene in the head coach role for the five-time IPL champions.

• He is newly appointed as MI’s head coach and this is his debut season as an IPL coach. His salary is 2.3 crores.

Veteran Mumbai Indians player Kieron Pollard will take over as the batting coach after announcing retirement from IPL last year. Former Karnataka captain J Arunkumar will be the assistant batting coach of MI.

 

5. MIKE HESSON ( Royal challengers Bangalore)

Mike Hesson is the head coach of Virat Kohli’s team Royal Challengers Bangalore. He gets a salary of Rs 4 crore every season from RCB.

 

6. STEPHEN FLEMING (Chennai Super Kings)

Stephen Fleming was one of the most prolific cricketers from New Zealand. He joined CSK as a player in the year 2008. He played in 10 matches and scored 196 runs in the inaugural season. Fleming was then appointed as the head coach of CSK in 2009 . Fleming get 3.5 crores every season .

 

 

7. Brian Lara ( Sunrisers Hyderabad)

Legendary West Indies cricketer Brian Lara replaced Tom Moody as head coach of Sunrisers Hyderabad for IPL 2023. Lara was promoted from his role of strategic advisor and batting coach in IPL 2022.

• Windies legend Lara replaced Tom Moody this year as the SRH head coach, and now earns a salary of 4 crores.

 

8. KUMAR SANGAKKARA ( Rajasthan Royals)

Sri Lankan veteran player and captain Kumar Sangakkara has been given the added responsibility of the head coach of Rajasthan Royals. He is also the team director.

 

9. Andy Flower (Lucknow Super Giants )

The Lucknow Super Giants will be playing their debut season under the leadership of ever-consistent KL Rahul, who also led the Indian team in the recent international series against South Africa.

 

10. Ashish Nehra (Gujarat Titans)

The second team to make their debut in the Indian Premier League is Gujarat Titans, who will be captained by all-rounder Hardik Pandya. The team certainly has put together an experienced set of individuals, who can help the team to start off their campaign well.

• The experienced Indian pacer is both the head coach and the pace bowling coach for the Titans. Salary of 3.5 Crores.
