New Zealand has announced its squad for the upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa. Young batsman Rachin Ravindra has also been included in this Test series. He will play a Test match on home ground for the first time in two years. However, this time he will have to play in the middle order.
Rachin Ravindra made his debut on the India tour in 2021. Then he played in Kanpur and Mumbai test matches. After this, he played against Bangladesh at Bay Oval in January 2022. Recently, he got a place in the team for the Test series against Bangladesh but he could not make it to the playing eleven.

Kane Williamson has returned after injury. He suffered an injury during the T20 series against Pakistan but has been included in the team for the South Africa Test. Fast bowler Kyle Jamieson has also recovered from injury.
