The countdown of the 14th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL 14) has now started. But before this, the 2016 winner Sunrisers Hyderabad has received a major setback. The Hyderabad team had to lose the Australian star Allrounder Marsh (Mitchell Marsh) to their team even before the start of IPL 2021.
Mitchell Marsh pulls out of ipl 2021 as he does not want to live in bio-bubble
According to Cricbuzz, Mitchell Marsh stated the reason for not participating in the IPL this year, saying that he cannot stay in the bio-bubble for a long time. Explain that due to increasing cases of Corona Virus, bio-bubble was brought into cricket.
Marsh was out last year too
This is not the first time in the IPL when Mitchell Marsh got out of it. He had already dropped out of the match last year while playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad. Marshal (Mitchell Marsh) suffered an ankle injury during the opening match of IPL 2020 in September last year, after which he was forced out of the entire league.
Sunrisers Hyderabad will start their IPL season this year from 11 April. Hyderabad have to face Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their first match.
Jason Roy will replace Mitchell Marsh
In place of Marsh, Hyderabad has included England’s fastest opening batsman Jason Roy in their team. Roy was not bought by any team in this year’s mini auction.
England’s explosive opener Jason Roy has been included in the squad for the 14th season by Sunrisers Hyderabad, the franchise team of the Indian Premier League. Jason batting in the recently played ODI and T20 series against India.
