According to reports, Savla was fielding at a place where the second match was being played. In the second match being played, a batsman played a powerful pull shot and the ball hit the back of Jayesh Savla’s head. Businessman Savla was immediately taken to Zion Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. A case related to death on the cricket field also came to light from Noida.
Vikas Negi, who works in a tech company in Noida, was batting on a field on Sunday. He was on non-strike and when the other batsman hit a four, he went out to run. After he came to know about this, he came to congratulate the batsman in front. Both of them punched their gloves and headed towards their respective ends. Meanwhile, Vikas Negi fell in the middle of the pitch. The wicketkeeper and bowler of the opposition team handled him.
All the players came to him and tried to save his life. He was soon taken to the hospital, but before that, he died. According to initial reports, Vikas had earlier become a victim of COVID-19 but was healthy. To keep himself fit, he often played cricket in Noida and Delhi. In the last few years, cases of heart attacks among youth have increased. Heart disease is a significant cause of death worldwide and its prevalence has increased in India over the last five years.
