Zimbabwe Cricket said that we work on a policy of zero tolerance regarding matters like drug abuse. The disciplinary committee considered drug abuse a serious crime. Both of them had worked to defame the sports and cricket organization.
Both the players have started working towards distancing themselves from this habit and have also expressed remorse for their actions. The committee had taken the decision keeping these factors in mind. This was the reason why he was given the punishment of ban for 4 months.
