Indian team’s fast bowler Umesh Yadav has said a big thing about his career. Umesh has told that how many more years he can play cricket and he also told about his preparations for retirement. Umesh said that he can play for the next two to three years and at the same time he wants to be the match winner in the World Test Championship final against New Zealand in June.
One of the best bowlers of India since last many years
Despite performing well for the last three years, Umesh Yadav is finding it difficult to find a place in Playing 11. Not only this, Mohammad Siraj’s arrival in the team has increased his difficulties further. Umesh has played 48 Test matches so far in his career. He is part of India’s best fast bowling attack along with Ishant Sharma Mohammed Shami and Jaspreet Bumrah. But now Umesh’s career has come to its end.

Umesh Yadav, speaking to ESPNcricinfo said. ‘I am 33 years old now and I know that I can keep my body fit for sports for the next two or three years at the most. Apart from this, some young players are also coming. This is good because in the end it only benefits the team.
He said, ‘When you have five or six fast bowlers in a tour of four or five Test matches. You can feed each of them in two matches to reduce pressure and work. This will help in maintaining these bowlers for a long time.
‘As far as my career is concerned, thank God that I did not bother much due to injuries. It is good as a fast bowler because once the fast bowler starts getting injured. He gets in trouble and this reduces his career.
Desperate to play in the final of the test championship
Umesh Yadav was injured during the Test series in Australia. But he returned for the last two Tests in the home series against England. However, he did not get a place in the last 11. Umesh does not get a chance to play in the limited overs and hence he is now desperate to contribute in the final of the World Test Championship.
