World Cup 2023 Ticket Booking: How to book tickets and register

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has recently releases the new schedule of the ODI World Cup to be host by India this year. The tournament will begin on October 5 as already decided. While the final match will also be playing on 19 November.

Changes were made in 9 matches including the India-Pakistan match in the new schedule. Along with this, ICC also announced the tickets for the World Cup. According to this, first of all the fans will have to register for the tickets. Only after this, you will be able to buy tickets. These registrations have started today (August 15).

 

Tickets for Indian matches will be available from August 30

While tickets for Indian team matches and warm-up matches will be available from August 30 to September 3. Tickets for the India-Pakistan match to be play in Ahmedabad will be available on September 3. While tickets for the semi-finals and finals can be bought on 15 September. After booking the tickets, the fans will have to enter the stadium through hard copy. For this, ticket collection counters will be made in the cities hosting the World Cup matches.

Indian team matches tickets will be available in 5 phases

BCCI has made Book My Show the ticketing partner for the sale of tickets. If the fans want to buy tickets for the matches of the Indian team, then they will get the option of 5 phases. Tickets for the matches of the Indian team against Australia and Afghanistan will be available on August 31.

Whereas tickets for matches against New Zealand, England and Sri Lanka will be available on September 1. Tickets for the South Africa and Netherlands match will be available on September 2. Tickets for the biggest match i.e. India-Pakistan match will start getting from 3rd September. The sale of tickets for the semi-finals and final will start from September 15. The prices of tickets for World Cup matches have not decided yet. But the tickets for the matches of the Indian team can be expensive as compared to the rest of the matches.

Tickets and registration

Apart from the ICC website (www.cricketworldcup.com/register), booking can also be done by visiting the website of the official ticketing partners. Under registration, basic information like name, address, country will have to be filled. After registration, fans will have to wait till August 25 for booking tickets.

World Cup 2023 tickets will be sold in different phases from 25 August. On the first day, fans will have the option to buy tickets for all non-Indian practice matches and all non-Indian World Cup matches. That is, except for the matches of the Indian team, you will be able to book tickets for all other matches and warm-up matches.

Tickets will be on sale on these dates

25 August – Non-India warm-up match and Non-India event match
August 30 – India’s matches is to be play in Guwahati and Trivandrum.

31 August – India’s matches to be play in Chennai, Delhi and Pune.
September 1 – India’s matches to be play in Dharamsala, Lucknow, and Mumbai.

2  September – India’s matches to be held in Bengaluru and Kolkata.
September 3- India’s match to be held in Ahmedabad.
15 September – Semi-finals and final.
